Wamees farm was founded in 1992 when we started raising cattle for the purpose of making beef. Not only did we want to raise beef, but we wanted to raise quality, tender beef that was delicious enough to make your tastebuds remember it. With our goal set, we started breeding our cattle for carcass value and concentrating on the genetics that would make lean, delicious meat. Also, our farm believes in letting our cows be cows, so they roam pastures, grazing with no added hormones or antibiotics. The cows are vaccinated for health purposes. We do feed cows grain for the extra marbling and tenderness it adds to the meat. The grain is natural, some which we grow on the farm and when grass is not in season, they are fed hay which we also harvest ourselves. Keep an eye on our page for updates on available beef purchases.
